Still got the Blues
Rock guitar star Gary Moore dies aged 58.
«In a career dating back to the 1960s, Moore played with artists including Phil Lynott and Brian Downey as early as his secondary school days, leading him to membership with the Irish rock band Thin Lizzy on three separate occasions.
Moore has shared the stage with such blues and rock luminaries as B.B. King, Albert King, Colosseum II, Greg Lake and Skid Row (not to be confused with the glam metal band of the same name), as well as having a successful solo career.
He has guested on a number of albums recorded by high profile musicians, including a cameo appearance playing the lead guitar solo on ‹She’s My Baby› from Traveling Wilburys Vol. 3.»

«Bandmates of former Thin Lizzy guitarist Gary Moore have paid tribute to a ‹great player and great guy› following his death on holiday in Spain.
The 58-year-old, originally from Belfast, was found dead in a hotel room on the Costa del Sol in the early hours of Sunday.
Thin Lizzy founding member Brian Downey said he was stunned by the news. ‹I am in total shock,› he said. ‹He will always be in my thoughts and prayers and I just can’t believe he is gone.’»
